Thanks to Colin for this How To.
In order to post photos on this board they (the photos) must be on the Internet and have a URL.
1. Open an account on www.photobucket.com, it's free.
2. Identify the photos you want to transfer from your PC's picture files.
3. Open a window for this board and another to photobucket.com
4. In photobucket click on "browse" and navigate to and select your photo from your PC's picture files (double click on it), then in photobucket click on "submit". The photo will then be copied to photobucket.
To insert a photo on the board;
1. In photobucket go to "My album" and select the photo required.
2. Highlight the text in the box titled IMG Code below your required picture, Right click & select 'copy' (or use CTRL & C)
3. Go to your message on the board and click to place the cursor where you want to add your photo, then right click and select 'Paste' (or CTRL & V). You should now see text reading - [ img]http://some webaddress which links to your photo [ IMG]
Your photo is now in the message, yippee!
Close photobucket, unless you want to transfer more photos and make a cup of tea or crack a tinnie. Well done!
The same principle applies to Avatars which you can specify in your profile. Please remember that they will be limited to 100*100 pixels when displayed on the site.
You can use any of these for hosting your pics..they all do basically the same thing.
