First the Diversion 600 if the model has one and the 900 which all do.
First of all this is a very simple job to do even for the none mechanically minded.
On the left hand end of the bank of carbs you will see a black cylindrical object with a connector coming out of it. With the ignition switched OFF disconnect the connector.
Then switch the ignition ON (do not start the bike) and you will see the rev counter shoot round to 10,00rpm then back to zero this is normal. It`s just telling you that the TPS isn`t connected.
While the ignition is switched ON reconnect the TPS connector you are now in the TPS diagnostic mode and the reading on the rev counter should be 5,000 to 5,5000.
If it is 0 or 10,000 you will need a special screw driver to undo the screws that hold the TPS onto the carbs. Just slacken them and turn the TPS slightly one way or the other to get the correct reading. When you tighten them back up make sure the reading dosn`t go out.
When you are satisfied that the reading is correct just switch the ignition off and you will leave diag mode and be back to normal.
That`s it you have just checked and adjusted if needed the TPS.

FJR1300
Press SELECT and SET at the same time on the clocks and turn on the ignition. (do not start the bike) Wait 10 seconds or so and you will see DIAG on the screen display.
Press SELECT and SET together again and wait 10 seconds.
Now you are into the TPS diagnostic. You should see a small number on the bottom of the screen. It should be 15-17. Most are set at the factory at 16 so you can leave it there.
If it is out side these 2 numbers you will need a special screw driver to undo the screws that hold the TPS onto the throttle bodies. Just slacken them and turn the TPS slightly one way or the other to get the correct reading. When you tighten them back up make sure the reading dosn`t go out.
Tighten the two TPS screws. You're finished. Check to see that the readings go from 15-100 (most read 16-99 which is OK) by turning the throttle from no-throttle to full-throttle.
Now switch the ignition off to exit the Diag mode.
That's it. You're done.

Fazer 1000
The Fazer is set the same way as the Diversion except that the connector is not on the TPS but rather on a cable that comes out of the TPS and is tucked under the tank on the right hand side.
To get to it you will have to take out the front tank bolt and then hinge the tank upward. Use a prop to hold the tank up while you work on the connector.
With the ignition switched OFF disconnect the connector.
Then switch the ignition ON (do not start the bike) and you will see the rev counter shoot round to 10,00rpm then back to zero this is normal. It`s just telling you that the TPS isn`t connected.
