OK, having checked the weather forecast, I am up for this; as long as you can be slightly more specific with a start time/place.

Gordy, can I suggest you keep a spare bike in your man cave, then when us poor view and road deprived southerners fancy joining you, we can nip on Easyjet, and do just that McSeemples

Not long home from Gordys guided tour of south west Scotland. A fantastic day of riding, eating (Kittys home made soup is the biz), and reminiscing about days spent at sea . Was good to see Ronnie out and about on the new SV650, a minted looking bike which he is obviously enjoying. Thanks Gordy and Ronnie, it was a truly enjoyable day out. Please note:...... It didn't rain during the 200+ miles today ;D. Well, if you don't count the wee light shower at Kilwinning on the way home; but not REAL rain!!

Fear ye not, the auld yin made it hame, 9pm. Bottle of beer, big back o' crisps, the stop out arrived in 5 mins later and I sallied of to the pit, jiggered 240 miles of great roads, (apart from a few hundred yards of road works with 'ramps' that were 2" steps, bastids) Google map of the route, which was a wee bit ad lib The entertainment started well with Ron & Al showing off their semens seamans discharge books, + other Merchant Navy memoribilia. Mine are too fragile to bring out into the sunlight, due to age ;D This delayed the start by quite a bit as we compared notes on ships sailed on, ports visited, and good times. Here's my efforts. I suspect one could be the subject of a 'caption comp'
