...it's about time for another JR thread isn't it ;D C'mon Dunc let's have some info about where the rideout meet up points gonna be, also a little taster of routes/ stops would be nice, you know how some on here like to keep notes for their little black books, (no names, Roger)  Looking a lot like the three amigos will be heading across the northern wilderness on Friday from Poulton le Fylde district, subject to the intrepid Grove journeyman meeting his arrival/departure deadlines after his criss cross wanderings to venture North - East - West - Northeast, whichever way he's going  Who else is heading up Friday? |

I might be able to ride up on the friday afternoon ...leaving around the 4pm mark....Im about an hour and a half journey away ....Id need to head back around 8pm and ride back up in the morning thou so if the weathers carp I may hold off until Saturday.....I read the meeting place is the Ericht Alehouse on the Friday but not sure of times....maybe the starting place for Saturday's run could be the same place? Today Im getting my asre in gear and changing the back tyre , rear shock and some of the plastics ...shoulda been done weeks ago...  |

I am riding up from Peterborough on the Friday morning, aiming to leave around 7am and taking a gentle ride, probably A1 to Newcastle, A68 toward Edinburgh, then M90 etc. arriving Mid afternoon.

Would think we *should* be in the approximate area of Carlisle about 11.00 am ish might be a slight delay; I have arranged with my district nurse to come early on that Friday to change my dressings, but won't be until at least 09.30am.(will be a push trying to make them last for 5 days otherwise, currently being changed every 2 days at the moment. if push come to shove Karen is willing to give you or Martin a lesson in how to change them just in case  ) If you both want to set off earlier no problem, can meet up later. |

Intended posting this weekend anyway but can't do the Sat run recce this weekend due to a cycle race on some of the route. Inconsiderate gits. PC playing up too. But at least I got the bike ready for MOT this week. Hope it doesn't fail.  I suppose I could give the Ericht Alehouse another Recce. ;D |

As Pops said, time for Carlisle arrival will be dependant on his nurse appointment, but could be around lunch time.
