Was on homeward run from WWW 2, when I noticed a bit more vibration/screen noise than usual. At first I put it down to strong headwind, but on halfway home fag/drink break I investigated further.
Put hands under the bottom of the fairing and lifted...fairing came up about 2" in travel
. Summats amiss, convinced myself nowt to stop me getting home, subsequently inspected next morning and found this;
Main fairing subframe had parted company, top and bottom, where it fastens on the headstock ! No doubt a legacy of last years Lincs run excursion that had finally torn itself apart

Anyways, now welded and as good as new

. Was this the bike you were trying to flog to some poor unsuspecting sort last year 
?
